(The Summer School Has Now Finished - But Here's What Happend)
The School for Wise Children is our unique training programme, created to deliver professional-level courses for the next generation of independent theatre-makers.
This summer, we have a delicious array of courses on offer, delivered online by Emma Rice and her trusted team of collaborators. Suitable for beginners and intermediate level applicants, each bespoke course has places for six students who will learn directly from some of the best in the business. Each student will be encouraged to create their own work and will receive invaluable personal advice, support and feedback. The School for Wise Children is committed to diversifying the theatre world, and 50% of places on all Summer Spread courses are free.
The School for Wise Children is committed to making theatrical training accessible and offers at least 50% of our places for free to those who would not be able to train otherwise. Due to our funding, we are unable to offer free places to those outside the UK. You need to be aged 18 or older to participate in a School for Wise Children course.
