Wise Children Mentoring

Wise Children are offering one emerging theatre company a year-long mentoring opportunity.

With access to our creative, producing and technical team, Wise Children will work with the selected company to help them reach the next level, whether that’s expanding, rebranding, starting to tour or producing work for larger venues.

A bespoke mentoring plan will be designed with the selected company and will include a mix of in person and online sessions spread across the year. The entire Wise Children team will be available for sessions, including our Artistic Director - Emma, Executive Producer – Poppy, Technical Director – Simon, Associate Director – Laura, and Fundraiser – Helena, as well as members of the creative team behind Wise Children’s critically acclaimed productions.

Who we’re looking for: We want to hear from existing, UK-based theatre companies (aged 18+), who have already made work together, and will benefit from the expertise of the Wise Children team. We’re especially keen to meet companies who make work drawing on a range of disciplines including movement, music and puppetry, and who will chime with Wise Children’s playful and ambitious approach.

Wise Children are committed to equal opportunities and actively welcome candidates from all backgrounds. To remove barriers, School for Wise Children opportunities are free and access support is available.

If you have any questions about the opportunity, contact helen@wisechildren.co.uk
