Shadow the Lighting Team of Wuthering Heights

The School for Wise Children and the National Theatre are looking for a passionate emerging lighting professional, to join us for the technical rehearsals of Wuthering Heights in the Lyttelton Theatre. Whether you’re considering drama school or taking your first steps into the industry, if you have an interest in Lighting Design and Programming, we want to hear from you.

All applicants must be aged 18+. We are particularly interested in meeting applicants from the global majority and people with disabilities, who are currently under-represented in the industry.

The ‘Emotionally epic’ (The Times) Wuthering Heights has received rave reviews in Bristol, York and during its online release. You will join the show’s team, shadowing Wise Children’s Lighting Designer, Jai Morjaria. You’ll see Wuthering Heights transfer into the Lyttelton Theatre and get to know more about the lighting team behind the show, as the show prepares to open in London.

This is a learning experience for an emerging lighting professional, so you don’t need a lot of experience, just a lot of enthusiasm. All applicants must be aged 18+.

Dates: This opportunity takes place Monday 31st January – Saturday 5th February. As it takes place during the show’s technical rehearsal week, there will be late nights and weekend working.

Salary: The successful applicant will be paid London Living Wage (£11.05ph) to cover their attendance for the week.

What next: Please fill in this short application form or answer the questions by video.
