The School for Wise Children
and The Lowry

PERFORMANCE'TASTER'

10am – 5pm, Friday 6th May

Venue: The Lowry, Salford

Cost: Free!

Whilst Wuthering Heights brings Wise Children’s brand of ensemble theatre, with music, to the Salford stage, Wise Children and The Lowry have an exciting opportunity for performers and theatre makers, aged 18+, who want to get involved.

On Friday 6th May we’ll be inviting twenty people to attend a free, day-long, workshop; The School for Wise Children and The Lowry Performance Taster.

In this practical workshop you will discover how Wise Children make their shows. Under the guidance of Wuthering Height’s Associate Director, Laura Keefe, and Performer/MD, Stephanie Hockley, you will play games, learn songs, become an ensemble, and use the Wise Children method to create ensemble music theatre.

Who we’re looking for: Actors, singers, musicians, and theatre-makers are invited to apply. You don’t need loads of experience, but you do need to be a confident performer

Timings:

10am – 5pm, with a short lunch break. Discounted tickets will be available to watch Wuthering Heights at 7.30pm.

Please note as Wise Children offers this workshop around the country, preference will be given to local artists
