North by Northwest Taster Workshops
Wise Children’s Training Programme and our touring venues have teamed up to give a taste of what it’s like on and offstage on our epic new show North by Northwest. This unique workshop series will take us across the country and is our favourite way to meet new performers and emerging backstage theatre professionals.
Theatre Maker Taster Workshop
The theatre maker taster is a free, day-long workshop. In this practical workshop members of our show team will introduce participants to the Wise Children method. You will play games, learn choreography and devise. You will experience first-hand how Wise Children builds an ensemble and creates their critically acclaimed shows.
Actors, singers, musicians, dancers, directors, acrobats, clowns, and theatre-makers are all invited to apply. You don’t need loads of experience, but you do need to be a confident performer.

Technical Taster Workshop
Come and learn first-hand from our award winning technical staff what it takes to work backstage on a Wise Children production. We want to hear from Stage Managers, Wardrobe, Sound, Lighting and AV Technicians at the start of their careers. Or maybe you've got experience in film, TV or music production and are interested in expanding your skillset. Wise Children is one of the UK’s leading ensemble theatre companies, and our production team is a vital, professional and playful part of the family. Our Training Programme runs workshops and courses to inspire the next generation of theatre makers.
